Vital Link was awarded the Noise Suppressor System Refurbishment contract by the United States Air Force on May 7, 2019. The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract is for Hush House and Noise Suppressor maintenance, repair & refurbishment. Vital Link will continue to successfully plan, manage and execute the successful disassembly, refurbishment, installation and testing of Noise Suppressor Systems worldwide. As part of this IDIQ contract, Vital Link will convert the Hush Houses to include Novec 1230 Fire Suppression Systems.
Vital Link’s Design, Fabrication, Construction and Maintenance of Aero Engine Test Facilities and Complex Steel Structures has been refined since our selection in 2013 for the ongoing Noise Suppressor Sustainment program. VLI teams will work in a constructive and safe manner to achieve the required quality and schedule while maintaining configuration, condition and performance of the enclosures and equipment.

VLI provides the USAF substantial consistent technical support, integration of systems that are common to the platforms by coordinating with the USAF Program Managers, and/or CORS to align user test stand repairs with NSS repairs. The Atec group of companies provides superior technical solutions from 150 engineers by sharing and integrating equipment interfaces between the NSS and the Test Stand, utilities, communication system, cameras, fire controls, etc. Shared technical resources between the companies include engineering, project management, CFT personnel, manufacturing, machining, logistics capability, lessons learned, financial strength, and longtime management.
